Unit Teamwork Skills L2CV3

Section 1

We were asked to create a podcast that would be directed toward teenagers around the local area

We planned it based on what was trending at the time, and the news around the area, to achieve the goal we had to work as a team

We set it out as we would talk and give each speech as ordered, our ideas changed throughout the whos planning process

Section 2

Our role was one we all gave an opinion or part during the podcast, during the planning we had 2 tasks each, to find the news/topic to cover and research for the other part of the podcast

We gathered around a small table and jotted down ideas, everyone gave at least 3 ideas and we chose what would be best in the end

Equipment wise we used Layton's phone as it was the one with most memory space

My responsibility within the team was to give ideas and control the audio and phone during our podcast

For us to reach our goals we stuck with a motivated mindset and planned it well although the final product is not complete

Section 3

My responsibility was the same as everyone else and that was to work and contribute and get the podcast and planning done, although the final podcast isn't done I believe we have done well with planning the draft

Section 4

My feedback to my own actions, I believe that have done well and believed that the whole group have done a great job overall to making and planning the podcast, my strengths were how quick we did the planning and the number of ideas we came up with during a short period of time, a weakness I would say is that we didn't get to do a final podcast (update the draft one), but even if we were to do another one it would take less time as we have experience now, and in future work we would be able to complete even more during that time period of time as we have our planning

Research Techniques

Research Techniques

The techniques you can use is finding information through out books, online websites and even interviews/Questionnaires.

Information Trail

An information trail is like a bibliography in Harvard style and logs of archives on the internet then keeping them together.

Collating Data

Collating is to collect data and combine it, a good way of doing this is by putting and arranging the information in relevant sections instead of being all in one pile.

Storing Data

Storing data to make sure its safe is key, make sure to store it somewhere like inline or on a USB stick and for it not to be stolen make sure to put a lock of it or out under your name.

Research Methods

Primary Research is a type of research that the person doing and publishing or others to see like reviews for a magazine or newspaper and it's a way of collecting fresh new data yourself that has not been collected before, it is sometimes known as field research.

Secondary Research is a summary of already collected data that we summarize and we find this from a book of information or a website, also known as desk research.

Quantitative Research is a method of calculating and achieving the result in numerical form, statistical, an example of this a questionnaire, survey and poll, done with a large group of people and is very structured.

Qualitative Research is a method of calculating and achieving the result in non numerical form an example of this is interview and observation, it is less formal and structured and usually done with a small group of people and uncovers people's motivations.
