Team Work- Tyneside Cinema Film Making Course
Section 1 - Be able to contribute to the setting of the team and individual goals
Our goal as a team is to make a noir film like a gangster-themed era, we watched some scene from noir films and the aim of the project was to film and edit the trailer we planned the trailer by discussing how the scene would go. We had an idea of a gangsta film, a romance film and a non-sound film.
Section 2 - Understand own and the others respond in achieving the team goals
I was the main role actor and played as a gangsta and a light holder I was the editor as well but the directors assistant carried it out the rest of the editing, the aim of the project was to develop our film making knowledge in the media industry my plan met my goal, and we used a costume and prop
We planned the film together as a team and agreed who was who, we discussed how it could be achieved, we all came together agreeing on that we would make it similar to the film we were shown, I carried out my own activities and I believe I contributed well to my activities and so did the group and we made a good trailer.
Section 4 - be able to review team activities
Overall I believe that we have done well, the activities we did were hard and easy and the group did well understanding and doing them our strengths were chemistry, working pace and media knowledge, and some of our weaknesses were, lack of time, communication skills with the teacher, our successful outcome was our trailer, I have learnt how to use professional cameras and I'll be able to use it in my level 3 course, Daniel was the main character beside me.
